The owner of this Antique calling card case recently passed away. This is one of 37 antique calling card cases (this one happens to be a stamp case) that was found in her estate. She had quite the collection. Most of them have been dated back to the 1800s and early 1900s. However, I am NOT SURE OF THE EXACT DATE of this antique sterling silver stamp case. The owner had her collection appraised back on June 6, 2016. I have the paperwork from those appraisals so that is what I am using to name these and set prices.
