Now offering an ULTRA RARE ring handmade by famous Big Sur designer Karl Lee! Prominently featured is a lovely and QUITE LUMINOUS oval lavender chalcedony. The cabochon is bezel set in what appears to be 22k yellow gold with a solid sterling silver band. What's ultra rare about this one is the sterling silver beaded accents around the bezel. I've sold his work for over 20 years and have NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT!
All of Karl's rings are one-of-a-kind, treasured around the world and rarely become available. He has long passed away and I hunt the world for his work making these beautiful creations available for collectors. This is a fabulous opportunity for collectors! Karl Lee's simple, earthly, elegant designs made him a man with an irrefutable style. His rings are timeless, comfortable and will be the only ring you'll ever want to wear!
Because it's a square band it's hard to know the exact size. I've found it be approx size 4.5 and know his rings to fit several fingers as a result of this square design. It’s hallmarked "Karl Lee 925" with his special signature stamp inside.

This is a smallish size but any good jeweler can resize a Karl Lee ring. If it's just one size up or down they can even maintain the square design. Otherwise, your jeweler can round the band. It would also make an excellent pinky ring too!

• Condition:
very good pre-owned condition. The stone is in good condition and securely bezel set. His rings are nearly indestructible as a result! The sterling silver band has typical surface scratches especially in the back which is normal for silver (see pictures). I think his rings look even better with age!
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Karl Lee's passion for wearable art jewelry began in Big Sur during the mid-sixties. Dedicated to functional beauty, Karl refers to the construction of his jewelry as "throwing pots" and to the sawing of precious metals as practicing kata (Japanese swordsmanship). His stone cutting has been deemed the "Zen of Lapidary." Karl is influenced by the Golden Mean and by the lines and laws of nature. The fluid perfection of his work embodies geometrically proportioned forms. His originals connect the human body, the metal and the gemstones in harmonious design that will resonate for generations. Karl's jewelry is devoid of mechanical repetition. Each piece is hand-forged, sawn, welded and filed. Karl says of his work, "What makes people individual is their essential expression. Condition of Estate and Pre-Owned Jewelry
All items come from private estates and are therefore in pre-owned condition. Do not expect this item to be brand new, but rather lovingly worn throughout the years. I will do my best to describe the piece to my best knowledge.
