Lens. If you are looking for a wide angle Pentax K Mount lens for either your mirrorless camera or your classic 35mm film camera then this might be the lens to consider. It is in nice condition. The cool thing about These K Mount lenses is that they can be adapted to fit onto many digital cameras. I personally used this lens originally on my Pentax K
1000
and recently on my Canon EOS M5 Mirrorless camera (with an adapter, not included) with excellent results.
This classic lens is in extremely nice condition. It is a solidly built lens, with no play or looseness at all.
It comes with the front and rear caps
, a dedicated Lens shade and the case.
The focus ring turns smoothly as it should.
The aperture ring turns nicely with defined clicks and the aperture blades are oil free
and snappy.
Optically, this lens is a great performer focusing tack sharp even when shot wide open at F
2.8
. The glass is clean and clear of any scratches, haze, or fungus. I’m not going to rule out that there isn’t the possibility of a few specs of internal dust, but nothing that can be seen. For sure there’s nothing that affects the image quality. This lens produces clean images and resolves beautifully.  I used to love shooting this lens wide open for closeups as it produces wonderful bokeh.
If you plan to mount this lens on anything other than a Pentax K Mount 35mm camera, please do your own research to verify that there is an adapter available.
I have owned this lens for years and used it on my 35mm cameras back in the day. There may be other copies of this lens here on eBay but most likely they have been through several users over the years. I take excellent care of all my gear, this lens included. It has never been dropped or abused and is from a smoke free home.
